Containing a superbly reproduced photographic image of the ‘Lady Southern Cross’ this frame pays tribute to the Lockheed Altair 8D Special and the impact that this aircraft had on aircraft manufacture and design.

Limited by number and containing the Certificate of Authenticity, this frame contains two Commemorative Release Silver Medallions, inset into a red suede background and beautifully displayed both front and back to enjoy the full quality of the medallion set.

The framing has been produced and designed specifically for the Commemorative Release to the highest quality and to embody the era of the 1930’s whilst modernising and enhancing the appearance of the images contained.

Personally endorsed in the design and content by both the families of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and John Thompson Pethybridge, this frame. These frames are true collectors items and will never be produced again.
